A staple of our batch is to have a feast at the end of each semester.
This semester is no exception.
We have a total of 12 semesters before we graduate. I'm currently 8 semesters in. Time sure flies fast.
Look at all this food.
A typical semester here normally lasts 10 weeks. We have a specific case every single week to focus on. We had just finished the O&G round. Basically we learnt about pregnancy and the female organ.
Next up, the pediatrics round. We will meet sick babies and infants mainly.
The foods were mainly prepared by the girls. Us boys are mainly here to eat, and carrying bags.
Here's some onion for Laksa Penang.
Fantastic.
A Saudian friend of mine made this desert.
That's his name, Saleh. He's got a nice sense of humour.
Ayam masak kicap, to be paired with Nasi Tomato.
Tiramitsu, this was good.
Time to eat!
I love the atmosphere, a bit hectic but somehow serene.
Reminds me of home actually.
We chatted...
Make jokes...
And enjoying ourselves.
All is right in the world.
It was a fun day, and I enjoy getting to know my groupmates better, I really do.
I'm thankful to have met them.
The floor looks empty, seems like everyone goes home with a full stomach today. That's good. Note that every room in this hallway is a small class on its own. It is where we meet twice a week for our PBL session.
A message from Saleh. This one is sweet, isn't it?
